Hancock Ltd is an independent, family-owned and run funeral directors, the firm was established in 1994 by myself (Darren Hancock) and still to this day I have very important values, I have dedicated my life to caring for our local Bicester families, they are not clients to me, they are a part of my family, and its my belief that my families should be cared for as I would want to be cared for myself, I am very proud to serve and care for all our families based in Oxford and Bicester, we are one of the very few funeral firms left who are now Oxford and Bicester’s oldest independent family owned funeral directors, we are not a part of any large co-operative or dignity PLC group, we are dedicated to carrying out a personalised service to meet the individual wishes of each family. Every detail is considered in planning the funeral for your loved one, so that we can celebrate the life of, and make the day a special day of remembrance.
Darren Hancock is the Funeral Director (over 30 years experience), assisted by Mr Simon Williams the Assistant Funeral Director (over 20 years experience), Mrs Helen Connor the Office Manager and Funeral Arranger (over 10 years experience) Mrs Carol Williams Funeral Arranger and Mr Daniel Riley Funeral Arranger, who are all experienced caring staff, providing a dedicated and professional service to our families. Each member of our staff has been highly trained to deal with families in an understanding and empathetic nature in times of great distress.
We take pride in our funeral homes, in Bicester the site was originally a home and very much retains that feel, and in doing so offers comfortable surroundings in which to discuss arrangements. Our Oxford Funeral home is situated in the middle of Headington in Oxford on the London Road, and offers the same tranquil peaceful ambiance throughout.
